For the third edition of Halloween Vlaardingen, the largest independent Halloween event in the Netherlands, I was asked to be part of the official media team. With three haunted houses, three scare zones, a haunted forest, and a large party square, this was an event of impressive scale.

This project was special for me: it was my very first professional video assignment ever.
Thanks to Second Shot Media, I got the chance to participate as a videographer. Fully camera-equipped, with media pass, and access to all zones and haunted houses. Only the media team was allowed to film, visitors were not, so it was a unique responsibility and a huge honor.

Together with a team of creators, we captured the energy, chaos, scare-actors/DJ’s and atmosphere of the event. My focus was on dynamically filming the scare actors, the visitors' experience, and the intense atmosphere of the grounds. The result is an aftermovie that captures the soul of the event: dark, scary, fast, and full of adrenaline.
