Meet the Founder
Ferre Poel
Founder/Owner - Creative Director
Hi there! I’m Ferre, 19 years old, musiclover, currently studying Media and Entertainment Business, and a big theme park fan from as long as I can remember.
I’ve been fascinated by the technical systems, storytelling, and emotions behind every attraction, experience, and/or event. I always get a surtain big sense of magic on those moments.
But then the spark came: Why can’t I take the European themepark world to a cinematic/emotional level and let everyone feel that same spark of magic through their screens?
What started as a passion for theme parks and events slowly grew into a creative drive to capture all the magic moments through next-level videography, photography, editing, sounddesign and colorgrading. Projects that turn any moment into an experience you’ll want to relive. Like you’re right there, feeling the excitement and emotions, again and again.

These answers give you a closer look at my passion, mindset and way of working.

One of my big dreams is to one day make a real video for a theme park. Not just an aftermovie, but a signature piece they proudly share with the world and that the company can really use for their social media channels, campaigns, and websites. Creatives like Marcus Delo Creative and KA Creative inspire and motivate me to push my work to that level of cinematic storytelling they’re creating. That gives you an idea of the bar I'm aiming for. This dream led me to start FPMedia, and it remains my greatest motivation to this day.
I still dream of making a real music video one day. It could be any genre, but what I mean by that is one with a real story, color grading, and sound design that match the atmosphere of the story, camera work that blows you away, a project where story, emotion, and visuals all fall perfectly into place.

Theme parks: I want to show people that the theme park industry can also feel like a film, that every park you enter is a new world full of fun, inspiration and fantasy. I want to convey that to the viewer in a way that makes them see that industry differently, and inspires them to live the magic.
Events: At events, such as Halloween events and music concerts, festivals, videos… I want to capture the real atmosphere. So that everyone can experience the unforgettable moments they experienced, yet again, on a cinematic and action-packed level. This can be done through aftermovies or high-action videos, in a way that the memories stay central, and grounded forever.
Production: The most important part, my mission on production wise is capturing the real emotion of every moment. Turning storytelling into the finest camera work, gathering goosebump visuals with colorgrading, sounddesign, music and an overall video product that you will remember.

A better way to ask this is: What do you pay attention to that others might overlook?
I combine cinematic storytelling with a genuine passion for capturing real emotion. I don’t just film what happens, I try to make people feel it. Whether it’s a theme park, a concert/event, or a creative project, I focus on atmosphere, detail, and authenticity. My goal is always to create something that feels alive, not just recorded.
I always ensure that the various shots in a project perfectly match the music and atmosphere that it aims to achieve. For example, when I create a cinematic about a ghost-themed attraction, I make sure you feel that terrifying sensation right from the comfort of your seat. That’s my goal: turning your favorite emotions and moments you experienced, exactly how you felt it, into a cinematic style memory. Chasing that same spark.
-
My biggest strength is that I’m a full‑stack creator: I bring both sides of the process to a high level, I’m strong in both filming and editing.
I don’t just show up with a camera, I understand the story while I’m filming it, and I already see how it will come together in the edit. That combination is rare, and it allows me to create videos that feel intentional, cohesive, and emotionally driven from the very first shot to the final cut. I know exactly what moments matter, how they should flow, and how to shape them into a cinematic experience.
-
I value collaboration where both sides actively contribute to the story. When ideas flow in both directions, the final result becomes richer, more emotional, and more cinematic than anything we could create alone. For me, the best projects are the ones where we build something together, a shared vision that grows into a stronger, more meaningful final piece.
No one is perfect in anything, some people are better in storytelling, some in design, and some even in scriptwriting, that’s more than normal. But if we can ‘combine forces’, challenge each other creatively, and push the story further in a collaboration, then the final product will be much more powerful and impactful.

It all started when I was three years old, being pushed through the Efteling in a buggy. That early sense of wonder never left. Theme parks became a place where imagination, storytelling, and emotion all came together - and that feeling has stayed with me ever since.
In 2023, I bought my first GoPro Hero 10, and that’s when everything changed. What began as a simple hobby quickly grew into something much bigger: a passion that became more professional with every project. Now, almost 1000 subscribers, a warehouse of camera gear (some people call me FP-Rentals xd), and even following a creative education, I’m still chasing that same feeling I had as a kid, and turning it into cinematic stories to let everyone feel what kind of magic it all started. Theme parks shaped my childhood, and now they shape my work.
Long before FPMedia became a brand, it was just a kid in a theme park, amazed by worlds built on imagination.
What we create today is built on years of wondering, learning, experimenting, and chasing that same spark.
Here’s how that journey began. ↓
FPRides began as a passion project, a place where I could capture the atmosphere of theme parks from a cinematic perspective. And not only that, I’ve had the chance to make musicmixes, POVs, and vlogs.
A place where I could show people the beautiful world of theme parks.
In a way, it was a return to the feeling I had as a kid, the first time being in touch with the world of imagination. Eyes already wide open at every sound, light, and story.
What started with a GoPro Hero 10 in 2023 quickly grew into something big. FPRides became a creative outlet with almost half a million views, over 1K subscribers, and a strong presence on Instagram and TikTok.
More importantly, it became the place where I developed my own style and skill, a way of filming and editing that focuses on emotion and action that brings you to the edge of your seat.
From that growth, FPMedia was born: a small but ambitious media initiative built on the same passion, but ready to take things to a more professional level. Since then, I’ve filmed events, worked on bringing theme park areas and attractions to your big screen on a cinematic level, and just getting started on every aspect.
FPMedia is still in its early stages, but the vision is clear: creating dynamic, immersive, and cinematic work for anyone who wants their story told with heart, atmosphere, and intention.
How it started
I’m always open to new stories, especially the ones we can bring to life together.
Let’s chase that spark of magic…
Thank you for being part of my journey, and for helping turn a lifelong passion into something more than just a dream.
