In this cinematic, I'm taking you to Dock World, the newest themed area expansion at Walibi Belgium. It's a port city where machinery and ships set the mood, and where Mecalodon, the latest and greatest family coaster from Gerstlauer in the Benelux, stands guard over the docks.

Who brought this project to life?

As a full-stack filmmaker, I handled this project entirely on my own: from cinematography to color grading, sound design, and rhythm-driven editing. My aim was to capture the real-life atmosphere, and industrial vibe of Dock World in a visual experience that makes you feel like you're right there again.

The video blends fast Mecalodon footage with serene, atmospheric moments within the zone, fully bringing the area's theming, details, and stories to life.

How did I film this project?

I shot this video using a Sony ZV-E10 with a Sigma 18-50 f2.8 lens, mounted on a Feiyutech Scorp Mini gimbal, and used a K&F Concept VND filter. For the thumbnail photos, I teamed up with Niels Depoorter from WalibiBoy, who captured t shots with a Sony A7 iii.
